Wiltshire House
There were three key elements to this project. The first was a contemporary extension to house a new kitchen / dining and boot room and link the original house to the pool house. The second was the conversion and first floor extension of the existing garage to create additional space for the Client’s teen-age children. The third was the remodel of the existing house to create an inviting entrance, improve the circulation and provide a cosy snug.
The contemporary extension was designed as a walled courtyard garden. Re-claimed bricks were carefully selected to match those of the traditional house. Large glazed openings enable the Client to enjoy the garden throughout the year and provide contrast to the more enclosed spaces within the main house.
