Suffolk House

The brief was to design a replacement contemporary dwelling within a beautiful 7 acre woodland site. The design represents a 90% increase in floor area to that of the original cottage.

A transparent central ground floor maintains views through a grassy woodland glade, down a steeply sloping site to open countryside beyond. The house is clad in timber sourced from the surrounding chestnut wood.
