RD Architects is an award-winning, RIBA certified Architectural Practice specialising in the creation of beautiful contemporary homes that draw inspiration from the context in which we build and our Client’s unique requirements.
RD Architects was established in 2007 and our projects have included renovations, extensions, conversions, houses and apartment buildings. We provide each Client with a personal and bespoke service.
We pride ourselves in our excellent Client relationships, planning success rate, thoughtful design solutions and timeless, finely detailed buildings.
Rebecca Dyer
I enjoy working with Clients to create beautiful homes that sensitively respond to site context and are delivered within budget. I personally oversee all projects from inception through to completion and have a passion for creating carefully considered architectural solutions.
Prior to setting up RD Architects I worked for some of the worlds leading design studios. I began my career in Hong Kong employed on fast-track construction projects that included skyscrapers, cinemas and a Chinese Opera House. Following my return to London I worked for Foster + Partners, Wilkinson Eyre Architects and RMJM where I honed my design, detailing and project management skills on a number of prestigious multi-million pound projects. These included the McClaren Formula One Headquarters, Oxford Centre for Gene Function, The Museum of London and Tower Place.
Upon returning to the South West my husband and I designed and built our family home ‘Trees’. The awards and publicity generated by this project enabled me to set up RD Architects and I have been fortunate enough to work on many beautiful houses ever since.
